About Mark Procter

Mark’s expertise is in Strategic Leadership, a rare combination of the analytical skills of strategy development and the human skills of leadership development. With an MBA, and qualifications in the human disciplines, his strength is being able to quickly understand business issues and skillfully facilitate a team to  develop  and implement their ideas.

SIM picDuring his early career in the IT and Telecommunications sectors Mark held a progression of business and human resource management roles at Honeywell, Mercury Communications and then Cable & Wireless. He took his business and people management experience into self employment in 1998. Over the past eighteen years Mark has been lead and faculty on numerous university corporate education programmes as an Associate Teaching Fellow at Warwick Business School, Liverpool University School of Management and at Duke Corporate Education. He has worked internationally with leaders from a wide range of organisations including Allianz Insurance, Bayer, Jaguar Land Rover, Arcelor Mittal, The National Trust and Transport for London. His consulting work has also taken him into a variety  of SMEs where he has been able to impact their business profoundly.

DSC00354Mark lives in Yorkshire, close to his beloved Peak District National Park. He is a keen and experienced mountaineer who has climbed internationally for many years including ascents of the highest summit in all but one of the seven continents. He reached the summit of Mount Everest in 2008 and is able to draw upon his mountaineering experiences with learnings about leadership and effectiveness.
